About

Harbor Hometown 459 is an independent hometown news site for Boston, the North and South Shores and Greater Boston. We gather Greater Boston’s reporting from the newsrooms that produce it and set it beside the numbers that describe the city: the harbor, the weather, the streets and the rent.

Headlines on Harbor Hometown 459 come from a licensed news API (Mediastack) and Google News, and every one links to the outlet that reported it. Live panels for weather, water, housing and travel are built from public data, credited where they appear. Alongside the news we publish announcements from businesses and organizations, clearly labeled as press releases.

Harbor Hometown 459 is part of StateSync Recorder Media.
